Betty is an English Pointer with a tender heart and a gentle soul. Much suggests that she was once used for breeding. She was abandoned after developing uterine problems from too many litters. Now safe in our sanctuary, she enjoys the peace and kindness she always deserved. She is not up for adoption, but sponsorship or foster support helps provide for her care. When she first arrived at the shelter, she needed some time to build trust, but little by little she has begun to blossom.
Today, Betty shows herself as a cheerful and curious dog who loves to play with the other dogs and is learning to enjoy life again. She especially loves going for walks, where she can use her nose to explore the world — just as Pointers love to do.
