Rita was found hiding, frightened, at a recycling station. She had no owner, and no one seemed to miss her. Today, she is an integral part of the shelter and shows every day what a wonderful soul she has.
Rita has only one eye, but that doesn't bother her at all. On the contrary – it makes her very special. She fit perfectly into the pack from day one. There are no arguments, no grumbling, no bickering. Rita gets along with everyone and brings harmony to the group.
She plays happily with the other dogs, enjoys the attention of humans and shows with her cheerful nature that joie de vivre has nothing to do with perfection. For us, she is our little big pirate – courageous, friendly and full of zest for life.

Special Needs

Rita has only one eye. She doesn't need any special care, but from time to time she needs a little cream for her missing eye.
